Who Replaces Mike Miller:

Miller sprained his left shoulder in the 4 quarter of Wednesday night’s loss to Cleveland.  He is expected to be out between 7 and 10 days.  Miller started in each of the Wizards first five games averaging 8.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.  Randy Foye or DeShawn Stevenson will likely fill his spot in the starting lineup.  Both bring different things to the table.  Foye is more of an offensive threat and can lessen the ball handling duties for Gilbert Arenas.  Stevenson is the Wizards enforcer and can give Caron Butler a break by guarding Danny Granger.  

Trust The Offensive System:

Washington shot 50.6 percent from the field in their first three outings but are shooting under 40 in their last two.  In the Wizards two wins on the season they’ve exceeded the 100-point mark.  So far Arenas is averaging 5.6 assist per game but the Wizards need him to up that mark to 6.  The team is 2-0 in games in which Arenas dishes out at least six dimes.  The Wizards also need to find a way to get Caron Butler more entwined with the offense.  So far he’s averaging just over 14 points per game.  In three games against the Pacers last season he put up 30 points per outing.  

Guard The Three Point Line:

The Wizards have absolutely gotten killed from beyond the arc in their last two outings.  Miami connected on 57 percent (8-14) of their attempts from deep and Cleveland scorched the Wizards for 9-three pointers in the 2^nd half of their game.  So far Indiana is only shooting 26 percent from deep this season.  It’s imperative that the Wizards prevent them from having a break out game tonight.
