Join Chasta Piatakovas, a Washington Capitals blogger, Europhile, and glossophile who loves horror films and ice hockey, and supports charitable causes, for the Capitals Chat tonight as they take on the Blue Jackets.

Chasta Piatakovas [chas-tah pe-tuh-koh-vahs] has written about the
Washington Capitals for Love the Game, Don’t Like Puck Bunnies

She contributesto the Scarlet Blog, and has been a guest on several Blog Talk Radioprograms discussing the Capitals. Chasta also writes for the NOVA Cool Cats special hockey team, and is involved with the Washington Capitals Fan Club.

Like fellow blogger and previous chat host Liz Chang, Chasta roots for the
Eagles but never rooted for the Flyers (she was raised in southeastern
Pennsylvania), and has been in the District since she moved to the area to
attend The George Washington University.

In addition to hockey, Chasta’s interests include international relations,
foreign languages (she has studied six languages including Russian),
volunteerism, and horror films.
