Last Minute Notes For Tonight's Matchup Against Cleveland:

• Caron Butler Must Limit The Production of LeBron James

            Butler is expected to return to the starting lineup after missing Saturday's 123-104 win over New  

           Jersey with a left knee bruise.  The co-captain has quite the task tonight matching up against 

            reigning league MVP LeBron James.  "The King" averaged 25 ppg in four games against the

            Wizards last season. 

• Limit the Cavaliers Offensive Rebounds            

            Cleveland’s front court possess great size (SF LeBron James 6’8’, PF Anderson Varejao 6’11”, 

            and Shaquille O’Neal, 7’1”.  The team averages 8.5 offensive rebounds per game and the

            Wizards can ill-afford to allow that many second chance opportunities.  Those offensive

            rebounds tend to lead to open three pointers for Mo Williams, Daniel Gibson, and Delonte West.

• Take Hostile Crowd Out Of The Game Early

            Quicken Loans Arena (“The Q”) has given the Cavaliers a true home court advantage over the

            past few years.  Last Season the Cavs won their first 23 games in route to a 39-2 record at the

            Q.  All of the Wizards (Including Cleveland native Flip Saunders) will hear their fair share of boos. 

            But there is no doubt DeShawn Stevenson will catch the most flack from the 20,000 plus that

            expected to fill the stadium.  If the Wizards get off to a fast start they can limit the effectiveness off

            the crowd.
