Bethesda, MD (May 27, 2009) – Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports television, announces today the launch of a second season of the popular 30-minute program, Tee Time presented by Geico, premiering Monday, June 1, at 9:30 p.m. Tee Time, which celebrates golf on the local and national level, introduces viewers to the best area private and public golf courses and features top golf analysts such as John Feinstein and personalities from Golf Channel. The program will also go “Inside the Ropes” with PGA Tour professionals Johnson Wagner and Steve Marino, giving viewers an insider’s look at the tour.

Tee Time, hosted by Comcast SportsNet’s Chick Hernandez, tees off June 1 with a show originating from Tiger Jam in Las Vegas, and is dedicated exclusively to Tiger Woods, his foundation, his friends from the world of golf and entertainment, and a look forward to his tournament, AT&T National and Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.

For the June 1 premiere, Comcast SportsNet’s news team heads to Las Vegas for Tiger Jam, Woods’ annual major fundraiser featuring some of the world’s top celebrities. The episode will include a one-on-one interview with Woods, segments featuring Woods’ celebrity friends including four-time NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade, NFL Hall-of-Famer Marcus Allen, singer Gwen Stefani, real estate mogul Donald Trump and Super Bowl winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

New episodes of the 12-week program will air Mondays at 9:30 p.m., replaying Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m., and concluding at the end of August. A special weeklong version of the show will air live throughout the AT&T National Tournament from Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md., with University of Maryland basketball head coach and Congressional member Gary Williams and Hernandez hosting the live shows from the grounds of the prestigious course.
