As part of its growing relationship with Operation Second Chance, Comcast SportsNet presented the organization with a $10,000 grant to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded service men and women.
On Wednesday, March 25, wounded service men and women and their families
joined Comcast SportsNet at the Washington Wizards game against the Charlotte
Hornets. In addition to presenting Operation Second Chance with a check for
$10,000, Comcast SportsNet also welcomed a group of current Washington Redskins
players to interact with, and sign autographs for the soldiers.

The goal of Operation Second Chance is to provide support for the Soldiers
and Marines while they are at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and then to
further assist them when they transition either back to duty or back to civilian
life.
