Campbell
by QBbrennen On Mon 03/09/09 7:50pm
I say we trade Campbell and either Randle El or Betts to the the Browns for Braylon Edwards and their 1st round pick. Let our true passing QB in Brennen lead the way we would get the receiver we need along side Moss and still be able to get our O-Tackle and then our D-Lineman at 13. Jason will never get us a superbowl in D.C.

Release Jason Campbell?
by hoya84 On Fri 04/03/09 4:15pm
I kind of understand where people are coming from with wanting to release Jason Campbell. However, you have to remember that he just had a pretty decent season. He led the league in the fewest interceptions and he does seem to have a great attitude for a quarterback. I'm just a little bit baffled to hear so many people wanting to get rid of him after he had an overall
better-than-normal season.

Give him a chance!
by strongdragon73 On Thu 04/09/09 12:44pm
I believe we need to give him 1 more year and see what he does this year. He did have the least interceptions in the league last year. I think know that we try to trade him basically behind his back ..... He has no confidence in the coach and the owner! This could make him have poor attitude while playing.... I guess we have to see>>>>>

I wouldn't say trade anyone.  The Redskins have good recievers. They just need the quarterback to get them the ball and get it there with precision, and Colt Brennan is that quarterback.  Last preseason Brennan looked great. He threw the ball on the money and didn't crumble under pressure.  The only problem he had was that he was working with these rookie receivers that weren't catching the ball.  I'm tell you, put brennan in there as a starter, and the redskins will fly.

jason will get us there
by redskinfan01 On Thu 08/20/09 9:07pm
i believe jason will get us there i think behind the strong offensive lines he would have had a better season. he is the only qb to play every game during the season for the skins in 10 years. he was careful not to give the ball up.  he only had 3 seconds to release the ball then he was on the ground, the O line had trouble reading every defense and stopping it. jason is taking a lot of blame that is not his. if the O line stands tough and protects him then we can see what he really has.  he has the ability and the arm. so go campbell prove them all WRONG.   vicky

is our special team's play. That truly stinks. Short returns for us and long returns for our opponents. FIX IT!

I guess my first attempt was too long. What I am trying to say is Zorn knows what he is doing. If he says JC is much improved from last year, I believe him. He sure looks better in practice! The O line looks better, Malcolm Kelly looks good opposite Santana; now we can put Randall-El in the slot. Friday is the real test. JC will play longer and get in a rhythm. If he doesn't play well. Then maybe we should worry. Until then, our major concern is our special team's play. That truly stinks. Short returns for us and long returns for our opponents. FIX IT!

Campbell is backup at best!
by cmcbrien21 On Sun 11/01/09 5:11pm
I have stuck with JC for 2 years now, however his inability to see the open receivers cannot be ignored any longer. I have been to all homes games this year and I make sure to watch down-field when JC drops back, time and time again he misses the open receiver. I am OFFICIALLY DONE with JC. I wish him well in his travels.

Campbell is Not our problem!!!
by jakeeshannon On Sun 11/08/09 11:49pm

Bad tackeling, terrible blocking, uncontested droped passes. 6 sacks in the first 18 min. 5 lineman cant block 3 men rushing. Players playing for half of the game and without guts or heart or self respect. Redskin fans are maybe the most loyal out there. We deserve better than the effort they give. Players need to quit finding blame and look into the mirror. And call each other out on it. (in private) Maybe some players need to go but not the QB.

Payton manning couldnt win behind that line
by jakeeshannon On Mon 11/09/09 12:17am
If u say cut campbell then either ur frustrated or just dont know football. No QB that ever lived could win behind that line. Campbell doesnt cry. He slaps his guys on the head and says lets go! U guys cried for Cutler and look at chicago??? Football starts with your Offensive line and we have ignored that for some time now. That offense needs to look into a mirror and wake up or get out!!! U play football for 60 min. Not 15 or 20. They should be embarrassed and disgusted with their performance. 6 sacks in the first 18 min of play!! Yeah lets get another QB? I like Brennan but he is wreckless with the ball. he threw a true pic in every preseason game. And thats only playing 1 qtr. a game. There is a reason Colt is a 3rd string QB.

Campbell is NOT the problem!!!
by jakeeshannon On Mon 11/09/09 12:26am

Superbowl teams are built around offensive lines. Giving up sacks on 3 man rush!!!!! No Excuse. Those guys need a wake up call. Hey dan. Hold open tryouts for a new o-line. Pull guys off the street. They would do just as well. Maybe that would shake things up! We are already the laughing stock of the NFL. We have nothing to lose! Campbell has the best attitude on the team. Cutler would have been hiding out by now, not accepting phone calls and showing up for practice.

Hey Dan, listen PLEASE!!
by jakeeshannon On Mon 11/09/09 12:43am
I know u want to win and so do i. Please tell D Hall that gangsters need not apply. You pay him very well to play football, so be a football player. Not a hustler or a brawler or some fake tough guy thug wanna be. Im not impressed with how well you can jab your jaw so shut up and play ball. His business should be on the field and not on the sideline. The sidelines are your domain and he needs to be told so. If he still wants to be a fighter cut him and maybe UFC will pay for that garbage!!!!We have enough corrections to make without adding juvenile behavior to the list. Email me, maybe i can help crack a whip and get these over paid players back to earning their paycheck.
